MATERIALS WE USE

Material is the beginning of every Avēro design.

Avēro works with freshwater pearls, mother-of-pearl, crystals and natural stones, allowing each material’s unique texture, colour and character to guide the design.

Natural variations are not imperfections — they are part of what makes every piece individual.

FRESHWATER PEARL

Freshwater pearls are valued for their gentle lustre and naturally varied forms.

Each pearl develops its own surface, shape and character over time. Baroque and irregular pearls are selected for their organic beauty and individuality.

MOTHER-OF-PEARL

Mother-of-pearl carries the subtle reflection of the ocean, created through natural layers within the shell.

Its shifting tones, soft glow and unique patterns make every piece naturally different.

CRYSTAL & NATURAL STONES

Avēro selects crystals and natural stones for their colour, translucency, texture and individual character.

Natural inclusions, subtle differences in tone and variations in surface are preserved as part of the material’s story.

Natural stones may undergo common treatments such as dyeing or heating; where a treatment is known, it is noted on the product page.

925 STERLING SILVER

The metal components of Avēro jewellery are 925 sterling silver, chosen to provide structure, balance and durability. Sterling silver may naturally tarnish over time; this can be polished away with a soft silver cloth.

The metal elements are designed to support the natural beauty of each material, rather than overpower it.

NATURAL VARIATION

Because many Avēro pieces include naturally formed materials, slight differences may occur between each piece and product photography.

These variations are not defects. They are the natural signatures of materials shaped by time.
