MATERIALS WE USE

Material is an important part of every AVĒRO design.

Our jewellery is built primarily around 925 sterling silver, selected for its clarity, weight and ability to hold both polished and textured finishes. Selected pieces feature moissanite, mother-of-pearl, crystal, freshwater pearl, opal, agate and other natural stone details.

Each material is chosen for the way it carries light, texture and form.

925 STERLING SILVER

925 sterling silver is the foundation of most AVĒRO jewellery.

It offers a cool, substantial surface that works naturally with sculptural shapes, polished details and softly textured finishes. Silver may gradually oxidise when exposed to air and moisture. This is a natural characteristic of the metal rather than a defect.

Some pieces are intentionally finished with brushed, matte or oxidised details to create depth and contrast.

GOLD-PLATED STERLING SILVER

Selected AVĒRO pieces are crafted in 925 sterling silver and finished with gold plating.

The silver base provides structure and weight, while the plated surface adds warmth. As with all plated jewellery, the finish may gradually soften with regular wear, particularly when exposed to water, perfume, skincare products and friction.

MOISSANITE

Moissanite is used in selected designs for its brightness, clarity and precise light reflection.

Its clean brilliance works especially well with AVĒRO’s more detailed and architectural pieces, bringing contrast to the softer surface of sterling silver.

MOTHER-OF-PEARL

Mother-of-pearl is formed naturally inside shells and is recognised for its soft, luminous surface.

Variations in tone, reflection and natural pattern are part of the material. No two pieces will appear completely identical.

CRYSTAL AND NATURAL STONE

AVĒRO uses crystal, agate and selected natural stones for their colour, transparency and individual character.

Natural inclusions, subtle colour differences and variations in texture may be visible. These details are part of the material rather than imperfections.

FRESHWATER PEARL

Freshwater pearls are valued for their gentle lustre and naturally varied shape.

Small differences in surface, size and form make each pearl individual. Baroque and irregular pearls are selected specifically for their organic character.

OPAL

Opal is known for its soft depth and shifting colour.

Its appearance may change under different lighting conditions. Natural variations in colour and pattern are expected and make each stone unique.

NATURAL VARIATION

Because many AVĒRO pieces include natural or individually formed materials, the jewellery you receive may vary slightly from product photography.

We do not consider these differences defects. They are part of the natural character of the piece.
